What does Billericay Round Table get up to...

Fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting - that's what Round Table is all about. From sports to nights out at restaurants and family social events, Round Table prides itself on giving it's members the chance to embrace life to the full and get out of the living to work rut.
We are a very active table with a great social programme - we don't expect everybody to attend all events and you can do as much or as little as you want.

Our events are broken into 4 categories:

  • Social Activities: We try to have a social event for members and friends (and often all the family). These include family days, sporting events, theme parks and competing against other Round Tables.
  • Meetings: These are generally monthly dinners where we decide on activities and listen to organisations looking for donations and support. We also debate as to where the thousands of pounds we raise each year are to be donated to.
  • Fund Raising Events: Our biggest event is the fireworks but we also do other things such as sponsored events, dinners, barn dances and much more to raise funds.
  • Book Stall: People donate, swap and buy books at the Billericay Round Table book stall, which has been running for over 40 years now. On most Saturday mornings you will find any number of members having a beer outside the Red Lion in the High Street, where we run the stall. It is a way to raise money, get our faces on the streets and an excuse to get out of the house and socialise with friends.

  • Our full social and business calendar will be updated throughout the year, so please come back and check the mini-calendar (above) to see what events are coming up soon.
