Billericay Round Table is all set to make sure that this November goes off with a bang with one of the largest charity firework displays in Essex, and would like to invite families from the whole region to watch spectacular fireworks fill the sky with colour, accompanied by a musical compilation designed for this one event.
The display will be held at Lake Meadows in Billericay on Saturday 7th November. This location has been used for many years by the volunteers of Billericay Round Table and last year alone had nearly 20,000 visitors, raising £48,000 for local good causes. Seb Roberts, Chairman of Billericay Round Table, said: “We started to plan this year’s event in January and at the heart of the plans, we are making sure visitors are kept safe and entertained from start to finish. We are using Spyrotechnics as our fireworks team this year, and their brief is to spend all of the £21,000 main display budget on providing a stunning fireworks show accompanied by music – it’s going to be spectacular! For the second year running there will also be a Kids Display earlier in the evening, which is set to be bigger, better and longer than last year, and will be set to well-known Disney songs.” “Our previous firework displays have helped us raise much-needed funds for local charities and we are keen to continue to provide funds for charities that in this time of austerity need support from groups such as Billericay Round Table”.
