June 2020 PRESS Release

After careful consideration, we are sadly announcing our decision to cancel the 2020 Billericay Round Table Charity Fireworks at Lake Meadows.Our small team of volunteer organisers have been closely and continuously monitoring the COVID19 situation as it has developed both globally and in the UK. Planning of the event has continued as far as possible, but it has recently become evident that we will be unable to deliver the event in November.
This is not a decision we have come to lightly. This time last year we were looking forward to our 2019, 50th anniversary of one of the biggest displays in Essex. Typically, each year we are able to raise enough funds to support around thirty local charities and individuals, so we are regrettably going to see a reduction in our donation activities until our 6th November 2021 Fireworks event.
